After the tour of the Buddy Holly Hall For The Performing Arts And Sciences, lunch at the Holly Hop, where 65 attended. I had to skip that due to the need to do the ordinary weekend "stuff", like laundry and grocery shopping, etc. BUT! The weekend prior I made a special trip to the Holly Hop to get photos and survey the general area! It was closed at that time...
You can get a sense of the ambience and a feel for the general area, here on 34th Street...
The classmates had a good time here! Plenty of nifty fifties vibes!
Once upon a time, not much south of 34th but cotton fields!
