 These are all the photos I have of the 69 year reunion and the 70 year, and last, reunion. Note the emptiness. All I have of the 70 year reunion is the itinerary. There will be no more of these reunions. Compare 2013 to 2025. 

The SEVENTY Year Reunion is taking place this weekend!

 I attended the Luncheon yesterday and got some sad news. I don't think I will be able to attend any of the other events, and there have been some cancellations. I will have one photo for this blog. So much time has passed and there have been so many changes since my first reunion in 2013. But that's how life works. Everything is temporary. The venue is much as it has always been, although the location of the Saturday Brunch has changed again. So be it. That location is not at all convenient for me but it will be more convenient for others. On the other hand, traffic might be dicey. One must hope for the best. The Avalanche Journal has shown no interest in the event. I wonder whether there are any local journalists left? In 1985 the newspaper did a major writeup. I have clippings. I believe the reunion in 1985 was the first, and that would have been thirty years after graduation. 

SEVENTY Year Reunion!

 I suppose after all this time it would be foolish to imagine that things can be as they were. Time has taken its toll. The class spirit lives on, and there will be a FINAL reunion in July. I doubt that I will have many photos, if any. I could try to attend one of the events, at least. It all depends. But I have to accept that with so many gone, and given the average age of this class, that this reunion can't possibly be anything like earlier ones I attended and documented here. I wish them well.
